VERSA 110 Liquid Liquid Extraction Workstation
With a built-in temperature-controlled reservoir for storage of solvents and a shaker block for sample mixing, Aurora’s VERSA Liquid Liquid Extraction equipment automates procedures to partition samples for downstream applications. Aurora’s liquid liquid extraction equipment conserves expensive reagents, eliminates concerns associated with volumetric variations caused by handling errors and automates all repetitive pipetting protocols. While this system is dedicated for partition chromatography applications, the underlying versatility of the workstation allows it to perform many generic liquid handling tasks such as: serial dilution, cherry picking, plate reformatting and plate replication. Several application notes have been released for this workstation - notably the VERSA 110 Liquid Liquid Extraction (LLE) Workstation has been successfully validated for organic solvent extraction of 25-hydroxy vitamin D and extraction of β-Carotene using partition chromatography. This is a basic technique in chemical laboratories, where it is performed using a separatory funnel, which is a cumbersome procedure when processing a large number of samples. Aurora Biomed’s automated VERSA workstation provides a simple and effective solution for analytical- and preparative- scale separation of diverse molecules like vitamin D, betacarotene, and other biomolecules. download here...(pdf file 1.3MB) |
